Porn is portrayed as a dangerous addictive drug that hooks naive users and leads them into sexual depravity and dysfunction. The trouble is, if this is true… it would also be true for sex itself which relies on, unsurprisingly, a remarkably similar dopamine reward system.

    I must admit I do rather like Roman erotic art. We saw a lot of it in our recent travels. Everyone looks like they’re having a very good time, the women are never doormats, various sexual preferences and orientations are always represented, and it’s wonderfully joyous.
